Following our prime goal of offering the best possible experience to our guests, we
have adopted a series of measures to guarantee maximum security during your
holidays in Son Bou.
For this reason, our priority has been focused on the health and safety of our
employees and guests, with a firm commitment to offer the maximum hygiene.
The situation we are experiencing is unprecedented and changing, so we will have to
adapt to the constant changes and regulations. That is why we ask for your
collaboration and understanding.
GENERAL POLICIES
Based on the document "Measures for the reduction of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus
infection for hotels and tourist apartments", submitted by the ICTE and approved by
the Ministry of Health of the Spanish Government, we have based our measures on
three basic principles:
HYGIENE
Review and reinforcement of the cleaning and disinfection plans and protocols
of our accommodations and common areas.
Exhaustive disinfection and cleaning prior to the opening of our
accommodations.
Access to hydroalcoholic gel at all key points (Reception, office and other
premises).
SAFETY
Ensure safety distance in common areas.
- Place information signs with the rules to be followed in each area.
Use of PPE by all our staff.
PREVENTION
Training of our staff to offer you the best service with the maximum guarantees.
Capacity control in Reception and common areas.
Recommendation of payment by card or other electronic means avoiding the
use of cash.
Delivery of general rules document to guests.
RECEPTION
Capacity control. It is recommended that only one person per booking is
allowed. If the maximum allowed is reached, we recommend waiting outside.
Online check-in through a mobile phone application.
Access to disinfectant gel for workers and guests.
Installation of signs on the floor to respect and maintain the safety distance.
Disinfection of keys.
Installation of protective screens.
Installation of information signs.
Recommendation of payment by card or electronic means.
Access to the Luggage room only under the supervision of our staff.
Access to properly cleaned and disinfected beach towels.
For security reasons, changes of apartment or villa will not be possible.
Early entry and late exit from our accommodations will only be possible if we
can guarantee the cleaning and disinfection of the property. For that reason,
they cannot be guaranteed.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Increase in cleaning and disinfection before the arrival of the guests, paying
special attention to the most used surfaces and elements.
Increase in the frequency of preventive maintenance of sensitive installations.
Reduction of decorative and low use elements (paintings, vases, decoration
elements, etc.).
POOLS & TERRACES
VILLAS MENORCA SUR AND PRIVATE VILLAS
As it is not a shared pool, it will be treated normally by our maintenance team.
The loungers will be cleaned and disinfected on arrival.
SUNSET SUITES, GRAN VISTA SON BOU & MARITIM SON BOU
Capacity control on the terrace to guarantee safety distances.
Reduction of the number of sunbeds
Daily disinfection of sunbeds
Reservation of sunbeds not allowed.
We ask for your cooperation and responsible use.
SON BOU PLAYA GOLD POOLS
The management and maintenance of the swimming pools near the Son Bou Playa
Gold apartments belongs to the restaurants La Góndola, Club San Jaime and Son Bou
Gardens.
We recommend you to follow the instructions and rules established by each
restaurant.
CLEANING SERVICE
Our cleaning team will access the accommodations only when they are
unoccupied.
As a preventive measure, we will leave our accommodations prepared with the
necessary clothing for your entire stay.
In exceptional cases, when a maid services is requested, you must coordinate at
least 24 hours in advance with Reception.
All linen (sheets, towels, covers, etc.) are washed and disinfected at more than
60 degrees, ensuring the elimination of any contamination.
Reduction of textile elements. If extra elements are required, they must be
requested at reception.
Cleaning and disinfection of hair dryers and hangers after each change of guests.
Our team will use PPE to guarantee your hygiene and safety.
MAINTENANCE SERVICE
Our team must have access to the premises of the accommodation for
maintenance, gardening and pool maintenance work. We will try to make it as
pleasant as possible for you, although, given the exceptional nature of the
situation, we ask for your understanding and collaboration.
If you require the services of our maintenance team inside your
accommodation, we will only access it when it is unoccupied.
Our team will use PPE to guarantee your hygiene and safety.
